Hi,
If you’ve just stumbled on to this blog and want to know more than the ‘about’ page can tell you, why don’t you start by reading this first entry?
It goes into the rhyme and reason for this blog. It best explains why I’ve chosen to rave about random bits of pop-culture, digestibles, and life’s little trifles.
Here it is:
It’ll all make sense…

Mccrae! You’re the best! Thanks for the head’s up. I love my straight allies.
So what’s up with the smiley face on the top right?
Is there a secret CTRL + J + SHIFT + CAPLOCK + WINDOWS KEY + RIGHT CLICK combination that someone is suppose to do on the smiley in order to bring up the secret website?
Wazzat? Where’s the smiley face? Is someone emoticonning all over my page?
You don’t see this thing on the top right? I see it whenever I visit your page. I didn’t know if it was a hidden link key or just something you put there to see if anyone noticed.

You’re telling me you don’t see it too?
Holy cow, I never noticed that before. Well, surpise smiley face actually wasn’t my doing. I searched on the wordpress main page and came up with this:
Whether you see little smiley “angie” at the top, bottom or side of your blog and whether you see her when you’re logged in or logged out isn’t really important. The little smiley “angie” is indicating that your blog stats are being tracked.
So, I guess it’s a little traffic counter happy face.
Awwww….
I don’t mind though. Also, I kind of wish I could claim credit OR, as you suggested, hide some kind of magical easter egg behind it. Maybe a printable coupon for a Wendy’s frosty or a dairy queen ice cream cookie sandwich…
OoooOooo A chipper sandwich from the DQ ….. Gahaahahaaa Yes, the chin is now laden with drool.
Damn! Another chink in my armor!
You’re making me want to hit the DQ on the way home.
yet ANOTHER thing missing in the UK…DQ! It’s funny, my boss did a camp america thing in New Jersey and she said that one of her fave memories of the states was eating all that dairy queen. Can’t say I blame her. Also, pizza.
